Our team comes from inside the healthcare industry. We’ve worked in it, studied it, and lived it for years. Apta Guardianship with BowTie Medical was created by industry experts to challenge a broken system.

We built the Guardianship program after seeing how the system was hurting everyone. Employers were paying too much. Providers were frustrated by slow payments and administrative nightmares. Members were staying sick and getting stuck in a loop of surprise bills. It didn’t make sense.

Our goal is simple: to change healthcare by prioritizing people over profits.
Traditional insurance works from the top down.
That means decisions are made by big carriers and middlemen first. They set the rules, control the networks, decide what’s covered, and often care more about profit than people. The member is last in line.
